A brand new Sony Vaio ultra portable laptop PC. The model number is VGN-TZ298N/XC. This is Sony's newest ultra portable laptop computer series and they are absolutely fantastic. Unlike traditional PC's they rely on a Flash memory drive, of 64 gigabytes in size. Everything is instant from bootup to program execution. No moving parts to break or fail. This is definitely the way of the future. Absolutely phenominal little machine. This model differs from the 195N/x in that it has a limited edition casing and carrying case, and a larger capacity flash drive, as well as an additional 250gig Hard drive built in.
It's amazing what they fit into this timy package. A built in camera and microphone, The new wireless N standard, wireless WAN for internet anywhere, extremely long battery life for basically a full work day, very light weight at just over 2 pounds, sleek looking carbon fiber casing, fingerprint reader security, 224 megs of video ram for graphics, a fast core 2 duo U7700 processor, and an extra 200 gig internal hard disk drive.
This model also comes with an external DVD-RW drive VGP-UDRW1.
Note that the power supply on this model, though it is a USA and Canada model, as with all modern laptops will work worldwide with a wall plug adaptor. Out of the box it works for USA and Canada, and overseas you will NOT need a power converter!
