Manuel Contreras 25th Anniversary Model: Manuel Contreras II has a world-wide reputation in concert guitar construction. His name has been associated during the last 40 years with the newest theories concerning guitar construction. Professional guitarists though out the world have found in Contreras designs the answers to their musical needs. The 25th Anniversary Model combines the traditional system of guitar construction regarding the top, with a second top placed on the guitar bottom. This provides a different nature of sound to the instrument. Additionally, the harmonic top is combined with the placing of a "Sounding Back Support" in the interior of the guitar. This feature was first introduced in 1987 by the Contreras’ workshop, founded by Manuel Contreras I in 1962 and now directed by his son, Manuel Contreras II.
