SERVICES DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT

High Level Requirements
Key Accountabilities:
Manage the most diverse and complex scope of consulting engagements regarding development and application platform products and technologies
Act as technical or business resource for broad and complex issues, and often assigned to strategic projects and accounts.
Provide leadership in technical or process planning and guidance to customers and other consultants.
Work with management when necessary to resolve sensitive account issues.
Efficiently and creatively perform complex consulting engagements on a frequent basis.
Strategically analyze the risks, benefits, and opportunities of various solutions as needed.
Proactively looks out and pursues on-sell opportunities for self and others in the current account and pursues/supports opportunities in other accounts as may be requested by the sales team.
Contributes to identify, pursue and close strategic business development opportunities while driving recurrence within existing projects.
Helps translate business or application development requirements into technology requirements for inclusion in contracts and/or statements of work.
Maintain and build strong partner relationships.
Act as the Technical Lead for engagement teams, coordinating Microsoft and partners resources.
Manage ad hoc customer incidents very effectively.
Perform technical troubleshooting to a high level
Provide customer services and solutions that effectively leverage MS business, products, programs and services into a number of complex customer environments.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
1) Essential Experience
Experience of providing technical consultancy/support to external clients.
Experience of participating in and driving complex projects.
Working experience in working for Enterprise Customers
3 to 5 years of Consulting and Services experience. 5+ years of IT experience
2) Technical /Functional Skills
A Microsoft products expert with in-depth knowledge and expertise in Microsoft developer technologies.
Advanced analysis skills (design patterns, UML, object orientation, etc.)
Experience in principles of software design to define appropriate customer solutions.
4) Qualifications
A BA Degree equivalent. Preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecom
Additional Information
Geographic spread of Services customers across Spain could involve travel and periods staying away from home during the working days.
Generally, one trip to the USA/Europe per year could be required for training, meeting purposes.
