RISK MANAGEMENT

Responsibilities


Contribute and take ownership of the work of the Fraud Decision Systems team by supporting the development, implementation and ongoing management/monitoring of fraud decision systems for GECF businesses worldwide.
* Co-ordinate cross-functional teams to produce decision system designs and strategies which meet business requirements
* Act as a specialist and take responsibility for the implementation and ongoing maintenance of fraud decision systems in GECF markets worldwide
* Assist GECF markets to monitor and maintain the performance of the strategies within the fraud decision systems to ensure they meet a markets P&L targets
* Deliver and develop best practice designs of fraud systems
* Interact with senior management teams in GECF markets
* Transfer own skills to risk analysts and GECF markets through coaching and advise
* Deputise for risk manager
* Ownership of projects throughout the lifecycle from planning to implementation
Qualifications


* Graduate in a numerate / technical (IT) discipline
* Strong project management skills
* Strong communication and written/oral presentation skills. Clear and simple presentation of results and findings
* Familiarity/prior experience with decision systems design & management
* Experience with successful project management from inception to delivery
* Strong/proven proficiency with personal computers, as well as, relevant business applications - excellent Excel skills
* 2+ years experience within credit and/or risk management across the customer lifecycle
* Change oriented
* Proficiency level in English language
*self-motivated & proactive, works well under pressure
*Confident in dealing with SMT & software vendors
*Ability to multi-task and deliver within changing deadlines
